Jehovah is one of many avatars of God, personifying one of His thousands of names and being perhaps the closest physical avatar God has ever used.

Overview[]

Jehovah was the Avatar used by God during the New Testament to appear to His beloved Son, Jesus Christ. As God is ineffable, unspeakable and inconceivable, He needs an Avatar to manifest himself on Earth, and one of those avatars was Jehovah, perhaps being the closest physical avatar that God has ever used as a vessel.

One of the manifestations of God the Father in the New Testament was in the river where the Enlightened One was baptized, when the Holy Ghost appeared flying above the Savior and a mighty Voice was manifested in Heaven saying "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

Another manifestation of God the Father through Jehovah was during the Transfiguration on Mount Tabor, where Jesus revealed His divine identity shining like the Sun and Moses and Elijah appeared with Him and, to the surprise of the apostles, Peter, James and John, a voice came out. in a light in Heaven saying "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him".

Another manifestation of Jehovah was after the Ascension of the Messiah to Heaven, when God through Jehovah appeared along with His Son, Jesus, to the prophet Joseph Smith Jr., the founder of Mormonism. The main characteristic of Jehovah in relation to the other avatars of God, is that he is totally physical, being literally a Deity of flesh and blood, being able to interact directly with the physical world. Jehovah, due to being used in the manifestations of Yesh in the New Testament, is considered the God of Christianity, the Father of the Holy Trinity, and the God of Mormonism.

Appearance[]

Unlike most of all other God's avatars, Jehovah is one hundred percent physical, possessing flesh and blood. He is like a physical being with the powers of a primordial deity. Because of this, Jehovah's body is very human, being perceived as a man with short white hair and an equally white beard. He is usually shown wearing a white robe and wearing a golden crown on his head.

Jehovah was able to create a physical form for Himself when He traveled to Earth to appear in the Apocalypse. He took the form of a tall black man, taking inspiration from His Only-begotten Son, Jesus, who during his earthly life was a dark-skinned Jewish man. He had short black hair and a white beard that went down to His lower chin, with black coloring over His mustache and underneath His mouth. Jehovah's choice of clothing was cloth sweaters and pants, and wore socks with sandals.

Personality[]

Jehovah is merciful, can forgive a those people that really want regret, he is also pretty lovely with his children. It's unclear if he has ever expressed wrath or been enraged before, however even if they happened they happen rarely.

History[]

The Beginning[]

During the beginning there was the primeval wars where the primordial void was fighting with the Almighty, a stray hit from Khaos struck God which those pieces that been shattered ended forming the avatars that we are familiar with and among them came Jehovah who is inactive for a couple of years but later became active when the earth was created and dawn of the pantheons began.

The Great Flood[]

Not much is explained on what role he takes in the gathering of the Deities but is explained that they were discussing about mankind's judgement due to how the influence of Wickedness from the infernal mother and the fallen angels along with the Nephilim started to impact mankind which cause some of them to go even go against the will of the Gods. But while discussing options of what to do Jehovah and Yesh argue the favor of mankind believing some goodness in mankind but as time moved on wickedness increased further more which ended up Saddened Jehovah's heart while Yesh ordered Uriel to melt the Ice poles by using her flames which would result in the Flood however some of the righteous survivors who end up in the ark would infact survive the Flood.

Sodom and Gomorrah[]

With the wickedness of the city growing worse and worse and with Yahweh's wrath being ready to be unleashed in the city to which Jehovah being aware of the destruction of what was to come decided to send angels to warn lot of the impending destruction of the city and flee for his life which he would later do so as the city became engulfed with fire falling from the sky.

Between Faith and Reason[]

When Abraham's son, Isaac, was big and grown, Yahweh appeared in the form of a serpent to Abraham, saying that he wanted Abraham to prove his faith in Him and commanded Abraham to sacrifice his only son for him. Abraham with surprise on his face, asked Yahweh if he had still shown enough faith.

Yahweh needed a sacrifice to feed himself, pagan gods are strengthened with prayers and sacrifices and the sacrifice of a pure child was an extremely powerful sacrifice, and as Yahweh was seen as a pagan god at the time, Isaac's sacrifice would strengthen him quite. That was the reason why he helped Abraham and made him and Sarah have a child, the tyrannical and dictating God as always, was only thinking about himself.

Abraham, with many tears, cried out to Yahweh to ask him anything else, but not to ask him to kill his own son that he had waited for over a hundred years, but Yahweh demanded. Abraham, had to choose between faith and reason, and with a lot of pain in his heart, he invited Isaac to go and offer a sacrifice to the Lord on a mountain, and little Isaac happily accepted.

Abraham and Isaac walked up the mountain, with Abraham feeling a terrible pain in his chest, crying inside, with his chest hurting even more when Isaac asked where the sacrificial lamb was, something that Abraham only replied "God will provide himself the lamb for a burnt offering, my son." As the two climbed the mountain, Satan took advantage of the situation and began to tempt Abraham, rubbing it in Abraham's face that the God he loved so much was now demanding the life of his only son.

When Abraham and Isaac reached the top of the mountain, when Abraham tried to grab Isaac, the little boy in fear ran from his father, who crying revealed to Isaac that he was the sacrifice, and Isaac, seeing his father's tears, his heart filled with courage and getting close to his father he said: "Father, will I be a good sacrifice for God?", something that made Abraham's heart hurt even more.

Finally, The Father of Faith to tears took his son and bound him, and placed him on the altar, taking the knife to offer Isaac's blood to Yahweh. However, when Abraham raised the knife to pierce Isaac, a hand grabbed his arm, and a mighty voice came from the heavens saying "Abraham! Abraham!", and he said, Here am I. Abraham thought it was Yahweh, but no, it was something much more powerful.

When Abraham dropped the knife and went back, he saw the Man who held his arm, who looked at him and said: "Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son, from me." When Abraham asked the Man's name, He replied that his name is Jehovah. After that, Jehovah teleported and disappeared from the sight of the Father of Faith. Abraham then ran to his son and untied him and the two embraced tightly. However, as they were embracing each other, they heard a noise in a bush, which was a small lamb, which had been given to Abraham to make his sacrifice, to sacrifice in place of Isaac.

After the father and son sacrificed the lamb and set fire to the altar, Abraham thought of naming that mountain, something Isaac asked what name they should give, and Abraham replied: "Let's call it Jehovah Jireh, the Lord will provide, always." Abraham didn't know it, but Jehovah interfered in Adonai's plans, and prevented Abraham from sacrificing his son. After they finished, Abraham and Isaac went down the mountain, but they did not know that at the top of the mountain there were two men looking at them, one of them was Jehovah himself, and the other was his Son Jesus Christ, and from under the foot of Jesus Christ there was a dead serpent, trodden under his foot.

The Formation of Christianity[]

During the late period of ancient Israel a new religion started to grow that was Christianity, when the Son of God died on a cross on the hill of Jerusalem in Golgotha, where he was bringing forgiveness and redemption to human beings, causing the wrath of God to be extinguished and replaced by a parental love.

After the Lamb of Judah died on the cross of Calvary, receiving all divine wrath and fury upon his body, being punished for the sins of humanity, Yahweh lost his divine authority over humanity, for the Lord's wrath had been replaced by God's forgiveness and love. After that, the Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit became the main Monotheistic God on Earth.

The End[]

At the end of time, during the Apocalypse he would begin to manifest himself on the earth during the apocalypse as a giant cloud.

Although it's unclear what other role he does play there in the apocalypse but it is a possibility that he is involved in the final battle between Satan's forces and the Heavenly host and probably might be the one who is gonna to kill the Primordial Beasts with a divine sword to which they would become food and shelter for the righteous survivors of earth.

Myths and Legends[]

The name Jehovah in Hebrew is derived from the verb YHWH which means “He causes to be; become". This name was introduced by William Tyndale who tried to add the divine name in the Bible but faced opposition from the church from doing so although this name is seen through different various versions of the Bible but they don't have this name more often like the other Bible the New world translation. Also this very name was used to replace the name Yahweh, as well as Adonai and Elohim. Though Jews no longer recognize the term, and even avoid using it, and currently Jehovah is linked to another religion, known as Jehovah's Witnesses.

The Belief of Jehovah from Jehovah's witnesses was very different than other religious beliefs about God due to him being viewed as the Only true living God and how no other Gods exists also of him being the father of Christ, who is the true creator while not being linked to the trinity at all.

Quotes[]

"Don't think I don't understand your pain, my child. I saw my son scourged, humiliated. I was there when they put a crown of thorns on him, I watched him when they nailed him to the cross. And I couldn't do anything, because it was his will. The free will." - Jehovah.

"So this Christian denomination decided to name themselves after Jehovah, how unfortunate. I kinda wanna smite them all completely which should keep my mind at least entertained." - Satan.

Although that name is usually common mostly being introduced by these guys who ended presenting this name which makes it quite of a popular name today." - Random human.

"Want a tip to have a more peaceful life without weight on your conscience? Well, it has to be tips, because one is not enough. Love more and judge less. Always remember that you and everyone around you are dust, and everyone suffers, everyone cries, smiles, feels and loves. Everyone dreams and everyone has seen or will see someone they love leave this life. Remember that you are all the same, and none of you can dictate another person's worth. Love more and judge less. Yes, I know, it seems difficult. But you can do it if you put in a little effort, nobody said it would be easy. You are the image and likeness of God, so act like it, my child." - Jehovah to a human.

Trivia[]

  • The Christian denomination of Jehovah's Witnesses has named themselves after Jehovah.
  • Theologians have equated Jehovah with Yahweh, Brahma, Ancient of Days, and Jehovah-1.
  • There are some people who disagree with the idea of the New Testament and Old Testament God being one and the same due to the Gnostic ideas of the Old Testament God being portrayed as a Violent, Cruel and Wrathful Deimurge while the New Testament God seem more benevolent and kind, although there are still defenders of God's name who arguably disagree with such an idea even existing.
